Who We Are
The Caribbean Resilient Infrastructure Implementation and Skills Exchange Facility (RIISE) supports governments across the Eastern Caribbean in strengthening implementation capacity to support the delivery of climate-resilient infrastructure investments. Hosted by UNOPS and funded by the Government of Canada, the Facility provides practical implementation support, mobilizes specialized expertise, and facilitates regional knowledge exchange to strengthen infrastructure delivery and implementation capabilities.
Why RIISE Was Created
Caribbean governments face increasing demands to deliver resilient infrastructure while operating within constrained institutional environments and growing climate risks.
Implementation bottlenecks often emerge during project delivery, limiting the ability of governments to fully realize the benefits of infrastructure investments.
RIISE was created to help address these challenges by providing targeted implementation support and strengthening long-term implementation capabilities.
